What is your organization’s super power? With degrees in Physics and Astrophysics, and a multi-decade career in the defense industry, I understand the kinds of questions STEM professionals ask, and the analytical way they like to make decisions, because that’s me too!
Why do you choose to do business in New Mexico? This has been my home for 32 years, so it is natural to me to want to help the people in our state. But I can work with clients virtually, even if they are unfortunate enough not to live in the Land of Enchantment.
Why did you join NMTC and/or what do you hope to gain by being part of the membership?I joined NMTC for the Women in Tech Peer group and the Women in Tech Awards, which I have sponsored for a number of years. It is important to me to continue to support women in the STEM fields, even if I have moved on to another (still male dominated!) profession.
Please share one goal you have for your company within the next 12 months.I would like to bring on a temporary intern to give a young person interested in financial planning a chance to experience it first hand.
