Each month, the New Mexico Technology Council (NMTC) highlights one of our outstanding members who are making significant strides in the New Mexico technology sector. This month, we had the pleasure of speaking with Diego Garcia, Senior Director for Speridian Technologies, to learn more about their mission and impact.

Speridian was born with a vision that is centered around relationships and delivery excellence. A core principle of Speridian has been the willingness to go the distance, to exceed expectation beyond technology by focusing on business solutions. At the core our value is based in commitment and competency, the depth of our relationships and an advisory leadership role that is focused on finding value for our partner clients.

In two sentences describe what your organization does, including the services/products you provide.

We help clients modernize their businesses and government agencies through Digital Transformation. At our core, we are an Information technology consulting and services company with a proven track record of solving business challenges with our unique, industry-based consultative approach.

What is your organization’s superpower?

Our organization’s superpower lies in our unique blend of size and capabilities. We are perfectly positioned to drive business success by being both large enough to ensure reliable delivery and nimble enough to adapt swiftly to change.

Why did you join NMTC and/or what do you hope to gain by being part of the membership?

We joined NMTC to collaborate with other industry leaders and contribute to help NMTC establish New Mexico as a National Technology Leader. By being part of this dynamic community, we hope to share insights, foster innovation, and drive the growth of the tech industry in our region.

Why do you choose to do business in New Mexico?

We choose to do business in New Mexico due to its strategic advantages that align with our company’s growth and community commitment. Since our founding in Albuquerque in 2003, we’ve proudly made New Mexico our corporate headquarters, reflecting our belief in the state’s potential and supportive business environment. The state offers affordability in real estate and cost of living, great quality of life, including excellent schools, allowing us to attract and retain top talent in the State.

Please share one goal you have for your company within the next 12 months.

Our goal within the next 12 months is to significantly deepen our roots in New Mexico by fostering stronger relationships and expanding our community involvement. We aim to strengthen our ties with local organizations, support initiatives that benefit the state’s residents, and actively contribute to the growth and prosperity of New Mexico.
