Description: Please share this opportunity!
The goal of the New Mexico State University Computer Science/Young Women in Computing (YWiC) program is to gain the interest of young women in the various fields of computer science, at the same time enhancing their problem solving skills and their computational competency. The program provides outreach initiatives and interventions geared towards introducing computing in fun and interactive ways.
YWiC will be hosting our first Expanding Your Horizons Conference on Saturday, February 25, 2012. This full day of fun, engaging activities will focus on computing and technology, and bring in outstanding female presenters and women in computing and STEM.
