Developers, designers, community leaders and the wider public are invited to participate in the “Albuquerque Civic Tech Day Mini Conference and Hackathon” at UNM on Saturday, June 1st. The event, one of over 100 events taking place throughout the U.S. on June 1st and 2nd as part of a “National Day of Civic Hacking“ will explain “civic tech,” share resources and examples of locally developed apps, and provide opportunities to join teams to create tools that can enhance the daily lives of people who visit, live and/or work in the region.

Los Alamos Venture Acceleration Fund Accepting 2013 Applications»

The Venture Acceleration Fund (VAF) of Los Alamos National Security, LLC (LANS) is accepting applications for the 2013 calendar year. Companies selected will receive awards that can range from $10,000 to $100,000 in order to commercialize technology and take it to market faster. Application deadline is March 1st.
