There are quite a few really good programs involved with improving STEM education opportunities in New Mexico, but their needs match the size of the problem — they all need help from time to time. To help address that and provide opportunities for individuals to help with their skills and time, we’ve started a new group at NMTC: STEM Outreach NM to help identify those needs and make appropriate connections. Our first posting… is about FIRST Lego League which uses robotics to encourage problem solving and other skills and is hosting several competitions throughout 2012. More info about them in the group and at: http://eepurl.com/hNoQo
