The typical project management framework usually focuses on the ”tactical” aspects of project management, including scope, schedule, budget, and deliverables. However, there is another landscape associated with project management, which all program and project management professionals must navigate through on a daily basis.
In this presentation, Beth Barrett will walk us through some of the more “strategic” and softer aspects of project management from her Advanced Project Management program certification through Stanford University. Concepts and take aways about how to best work within varying cultures, your role as a “change agent”, approaches for effective stakeholder management, and other topics will be included in this presentation.
