The 2nd Annual Recognition Celebration Honoring Women In Technology was held at the Marriott Pyramid Hotel in November of 2009.
The awards were presented to eight exceptional New Mexican women for their volunteerism, entrepreneurialism, mentorship and their impact to the profession in the technology arena.
Thirty-two nominations for recognition based on the following criteria were reviewed by a panel of illustrious judges: Jamai Blivin, Innovate-Educate and NM Learning Network; Dr. Jill Brown, Albuquerque Academy; Caroline Dennis, Wired Nation; Irene Lee, Project GUTS and Santa Fe Institute; and Randy Toups, Dell, Inc.
